Rogers Company Pickled Lambs Tongue

I have received many calls from folks looking for pickled lambs tongue. Unfortunately the Rogers Company appears to have been the last to make it commercially. The Rogers Company went out of business about 5 years back and it appears pickled lambs tongue might be lost to pickled food history. I have been unable to find another company that produces pickled lambs tongue and I have been searching for several years.

If anyone knows of a company that currently produces pickled lambs tongue I would love to have it available for my customers. Please email me at info@longlakefoods.com with any tips, tips leading to the procurement and sales of pickled lambs tongue will be rewarded with a jar of pickled food of your choice.

  8. Having been looking for them for years, had not realized Rogers went out of business. I guess that means if I find a jar it's at least 5 years old. Someone needs to make these!!!

    2. My dad was general manager of Roger's pickled meats. He worked there 48 years, and his uncle had to sell the business when my dad had to retire because his knees couldn't take it anymore. Nice to see my dad's hard work has been missed.

  16. I have recently made my first batch of pickled lamb tongues, and they were excellent! Just as I remembered them as a child in RI. I have thought of marketing lamb tongues, but I'm not sure if the market demand would justify the business. Any thoughts?
